CL Flea Market - no junk boxes

I love flea markets in real life, so I was really excited to experience them through my Sims.  I've had CL since a couple days after the release and honestly, there's still stuff I haven't experienced yet (as there is with other game/expansion packs), but I can't find any junk boxes to rummage through.  I've had my Sim walk in any and every direction possible every time she attends the market and I'm finding nothing.  Am I missing something?

The little junk boxes should spawn in San Myshuno districts after your sim has been there for a while. Just like plants, the boxes need time to spawn in. The best time to look is when there are no festivals happening.
