Help Uninstalling Origin

Hello!

I can not play The Sims 4 because I need to update it but during game updates, everything freezes. I have found a solution which is to uninstall Origin and the reinstall it. Today, I tried uninstalling Origin but I found out that I need to back up the xxxxx.file_crcs files which are found in the Origin DownloadCache. I cannot uninstall Origin without these files so I am wondering if there is a way to recover these files?

Try installing Origin over the current version you have to see if that will allow you to uninstall it afterwards.
