Todays Patch

I know @Bri will be posting this formally later today but just a quick post to let you know that auto save has been removed and the save function has been changed. Also the life stages Young Adult and Adult have had 4 days added to them. Because of such big changes please make a back up of your saves folder before patching!

I did a backup of all my saved files before I did this update.

Will the thumbnails for saved files have a mini photo of each family/household?

Right now, no photos appear like in TS3.  All it shows is the name of the household when I scroll over it.  In place of photos of my characters, it has the silhouette of 3 sims.

Are they going to fix that, or is that how it's supposed to look.  I just don't want to delete an important household because unless you scroll over the "simless thumbs," then, you could delete something you want.

Update:
@Playalot --- I read the release but missed this detail: "Thumbnails however will be blank until the save is opened, and re-saved post patch release."

So, I'm all set !

I'm glad you found the info. Not sure if I like the new system very much but I dare say I'll get used to it.
