restore saves

hey folks! i just upgraded my harddrives and i'm not 100% sure how to put my old sims saves back in there... i've reinstalled sims already, and i have the old sims files in a backup HD. would someone please tell me (in very much layman's terms ^^') what files i need to copy/paste and to where? i haven't played in over a month while i waited for the harddrives to get here so i'm kinda dying to play lol. so i hope someone is around who can answer this tonight!

If you've backed up your Sims 4 folder on a flash drive, hard drive or whatnot, take it to your new computer and copy it to it. More details can be found in the post linked below.
