How to activate the games features in supernatural.

Theres so many activities a sim can do likemake spells and elixirs, fortune telling, getting jobs like as mystics etc. I just recently got the game and I don't see anything about doing all that is said can be done in the game. It doesn't seem to have those options and any way to do the things that is said a sim can do. Do i have to do anything fancy or special to be able to do the things the game claims the sims can do???
