Can't go into household?

When I get to the map showing my households I clicked on the household I wanted but when I click on the play button it won't go into the household....what's wrong with my game?  I was gonna post on the sims 4 forum but I couldn't figure out how to post there was no button.

You didn't give a whole lot of detail of the issue. But from searching on the issue I've found a few tips to try:

1. Take out the mods folder, move the folder to desktop and try the game again.
