Story progression custom names not working

I recently got a new computer and had to re-install my game. Everything else in the mod is working perfectly, except the custom names. I'm using the 'ultimate' name list from the nraas site.
The first names of the sims created by the game are form the custom list, but their surnames aren't.  My game isn't in english, so the difference is quite jarring. I never had this problem on my former computer. I've checked that all the settings are correct a hundred times and I just cant understand what is wrong :/

Since your asking about Nraas's Story Progression, it may be better to ask them over at their site about your issue, if you haven't already. As they'd be able to help you better.
