Evolved plants?

I'm trying to figure something out.

My sim has a garden with highly evolved plants. I also have her collecting plants from the surrounding neighborhood (lesser quality). Will I see more profit if I hold off selling the stuff until she harvests from the garden? Or is the price based on each individual plant's quality level?

Price is based on individuals plants quality level. So getting your plants to perfect will make the most profit.

Right, I get that. But ok, let's assume I gathered 10 wild strawberries and then had 10 plants that were perfect. When I see them in my inventory, it just shows the total as 20 strawberries. If I sell them, do I get the price for 20 perfect strawberries, or 10 perfect and 10 normal?

Ten perfect and ten normal.

Yep...so you would get the correct price for each individual strawberry; 10 at perfect price and 10 at normal price/quality. Just open the stack to see their individual prices as you can drag any one item from a stack to sell to see what it is worth.
