Toddler Surprise! Challenge Entries Thread - Winner Announced.

The child's toilet is in the bottom left corner of the toddler bedroom.


Walking in the door, the kitchen is front and center.


To the left is the living room area.


This includes an easel for Jesminder, who is at level 5 painting skill.  And a fireplace for romantic evenings!


Also included a little entertainment.  Arun programs and likes gaming, so I even bought a computer.


I wanted the apartment to have a lofty, open kind of feel.  Here's a shot of the entire living area.


Just beyond the table, on the left wall, is the door to the bathroom.  The toddler room is the obvious door, and I went with clear doors for the parents' room.  I also included a window, cause I think indoor windows are cool.  They can check on the little at any time without disturbing him/her.

There are 2 more windows in this room that looks into the toddler's room.  You can see one on the left.  Both are in this little "hallway" area of the room (better observed in the first photo.)

It was a tough choice picking the winner. There was a few of them that just called to me - So warm and inviting that you could picture yourself living there.

Congrats @lesleyj42  your remodel was gorgeous as well as containing all the items mentioned in the challenge.

Kudos to everyone who entered! Special mention to @Hechicera  who managed to place an energy 10 bed and a plant pot for growing veggies for the vegetarian hubby.

It really was a super close challenge and I agonized over the judging! Hope you all had fun participating.

That was fun. And I think the colored rugs in @lesleyj42 's were fantastic. But the more muted elegant color scheme and item choices on @Alex 's was, to me, very nice. And thank you for the kind words @Playalot .

Thanks @Hechicera - I can't imagine how you managed to get an Energy 10 bed into your build, but I'm in awe of your budgeting skills

@Playalot and @MrsFlynn, you missed off one of my screenshots when you put the entry thread together (there should be a ninth with the kitchen) - could you add it in, please?
