In my game I'd like to do a dynasty challenge, but if I'm going to do that I want my sims spouses to be descendants from original townie sims. I remember from way back, when I had only the base game, the townies still managed to have kids whether story progression was turned on or not. I would like to have at least one expansion pack to give me more skills and stuff to play with. I don't mind having to uninstall/reinstall everything to make this happen.
Does anyone know the exact expansion pack that pretty much makes story progression useless?
Please don't suggest a mod to make this happen, because I don't use them.
