Do more expensive computers make learning skills faster?
« on: February 26, 2017, 01:29:34 PM »
Hi, I'm not sure if anyone's able to help me with regards to this question.

On my latest new character, I've decided to go with a completely budget build to start with, but my goal is to get him into the computing world. I'm torn between the $800 PC and the $1400 one, and am wondering what the difference is.

$800 - Fun: 5
$1400 - Fun: 6

These are the only stats to go on. What I'm curious about is any other changes more expensive computers make. Do they increase how quickly you gain skills? Do they improve the quality of produced work through the computer? Just wondering what I'd be getting for my extra $600.

TL;DR - Do more expensive computers make learning skills faster?

Later on, there may be some interactions that you can't do on the cheaper computers, but I think you'll need the $3000 one for those. The $800 is fine to start out with.
