My grocery store doesn't work.

I can't click on it to buy groceries or do anything else!  I even tried having my sim walk up to it, but he can't go inside.  I've also tried restarting the game.  Has this happened to anyone else?

What about the book store?  Is your Sim able to use it?  Are you trying from Map View or from street level?  Does anything at all pop up when you click?

Do you have any special seeds in your personal inventory?  I know that was a bug quite awhile back that would make the store and fishing not work.

The bookstore and everything else works.  I've tried map view and zooming in on the store, and nothing pops up when I click either way.  Argh!

Hm, there is a special seed in one of the sims' inventories, but I don't think any of them can use the grocery store?

I would take the special seed out and see if that helps.  Even though it is in only one Sim's inventory it may affect the entire household.  Good luck.

Wow, I tried taking the special seed out of my sim's inventory and lo and behold, now I can use the grocery store.  What a weird bug!

Wow, thank you for this, I just started collecting special seeds, and was wondering why I couldn't shop anymore

Just had this happen to me!!
Twin sims, one can shop, one can't!! and yes, the one who can't has special seeds in his inventory!!

Off to take them out! Sometimes he can consign them, but noticed he had 11 in there, and he'd been consigning everything!!
