Can't interact with toddlers

I have to say, I was excited like a lot of people when I saw there was a toddler update.  With that being said, I aged up an existing baby to toddler and there is basically no interactions.  The only one that works is for the parent to check on toddler, all other cues go away, so I am really frustrated over this.   I tried repairing game and that didn't work, so now will take out MC Commander mod to see if that one is conflicting with the game.  Will have to see tomorrow, but if anyone has any suggestions, it would be appreciated.

I don't think MC Commander has been updated to support the new toddler content yet. Best check on the creators website and remove it if it hasn't. It was a big patch and changed quite a few things so I'd imagine it will take a bit of time for the more complex mods to be fully compatible.

Searching about issues with Sims 4 toddlers aren't bringing anything up via Google. (At least at the moment.) But I just looked on AHQ's Sims 4 and am finding a lot of reports of this and that on toddlers. Not sure what all bugs there are. But it looks like there are many.

Hopefully they'll put together a bug compilation thread soon. Makes it easier to find information on the bugs.

To be fair most of the problems so far have been caused by mods. The vanilla games seem to be running very well.

I took out the mods folder and that was the problem.  Now comes the task of putting them back in one at a time.  Not sure it I will do that anytime soon, because the toddlers are amazing.  They did an outstanding job.

They really did. Best toddlers in The Sims so far I think. I love the bath time animations. Just so cute! Glad you sorted out the issue, nothing worse than your game not working.

Personally, I'd go without mods for a week or so to give the creators time to catch up; download updated mods and THEN try them one at a time to make sure nothing is broken yet.  I know Crinrict was getting frustrated at the mass of bug reports for Toddlers which turned out to be about 90% mod related.  This was a massive update to the game which will likely cause all sorts of weird mod problems.  And totally agree with how great the Toddlers have turned out.  We had a wait a while but it seems worth it.

Yes, I am going to wait on putting the mods back in.  I am just going to enjoy the little toddlers for now.  I know it wasn't MC Command and I really didn't have too many more mods, but still going to wait.   The little girl I have reminds me of the toddler on Monsters Inc., lol.

I think it may be the pose player or the censor blur mod because that's all I really have besides skins hair clothes and makeup

I did find out it was the "fast skills" mod and the "no mosaic" mod that is conflicting.  They did update MC Command, so that should be good.  Both of those mods I downloaded from MTS.

The disappearing CAS options, stuttering, idling, and what not almost had me in tears.

I only use one script mod, More Columns for CAS (and the color swatches one), but I add/remove Andrew's Pose Player very rarely to shoot specific shots.

Even though the More Columns for CAS creator updated the mod immediately (same day or day after), my game was still unplayable.
I took the mod out last night and peace has since been restored in my simverse.

While prowling for solutions last night, I also read that mods by scumbobo (spelling?) and ad*lt mods cause the game to glitch, too.

Sorry to hear about your skilling setbacks @Saltypaws but I'm glad your game is playable again.

I believe both have been updated. I think I had to download a different skill mod though

DrChillGood has been kind enough to update most of his mods despite not playing TS4 really these days. Nice to see the modders coming back to update for us.
