Free Real Estate Cheat not working?

Hi guys! I was wondering if someone could help me out with this. I can't get the free real estate cheat in San Myshuno to work. Is there a trick to it, do I have a bug or is the cheat simply unavailable in this world? Usually when I select a household to move, if they can't afford the lot, I simply activate the cheat and the lot becomes availible. Unfortunately it isn't working when ever I'm in San Myshuno.

If someone has an answer, I'd really appreciate it!

It is working in my game in San Myshuno, just tested it for you. The cheat does need re-activating if you do not move the sims in right away and click out of the moving screen or away from that particular family. Do you have mods or CC that might be causing this issue?

No, I don't have any mods or CC.

This might sound like a pain, but can you please walk me through the steps you take for the cheat? I may have been using it incorrectly.

Yep sure...

Into Manage Worlds>Household Management so I could choose a sim who is currently not in a house. Clicked on the sim I wanted to move into a world>clicked the truck icon>"Move Household onto a Lot'. Went to map selector screen>Choose San Myshuno. Next I opened the cheats console (Control+Shift+C) and typed in freerealestate on and hit enter. Clicked on the most expensive penthouse as it is still empty in my current game and then clicked on the truck in the bottom right corner of my screen. The confirmation screen came up... clicked the 'tick' and now this lucky homeless NPC is living the life of luxury! (Until I evict her  )

Basically it is a cheat that doesn't 'stick' and if you leave the moving-in screen or the screen where you are in the process of choosing which world/lot, you have to re-enter the cheat. I think that is why people think it isn't working.
