Molly World

An Unflirty Soul Mate-seeker? What on earth? Oh, dear. I'm afraid aging up in that face paint was prophetic. I love the green hair, though.

The blonde lady's pregnancy portrait is pretty frightening, though. I don't blame Minerva at all for being put off.

Albus's lady friend is quite lovely, but yikes! The parents in the bush! How humiliating! It's going to take a lot to recover from that.

Molly and her abandonment issues continue to be charming. I have to disagree with her about her name, though. Molly Weasley is no slouch! I love that Albus fixes the dollhouse so Molly can wreck it again. That's so oddly sweet.

Looking forward to seeing you at the tippy top of the world, dear. :)

It really shouldn't be possible! I am impressed with how they've adapted pregnancy clothes in this iteration of the game, but yeah, Ali looks kind of grotesque in that shot.

Molly should understand her namesake better as time goes on. Maybe she hasn't gotten to the books yet ;)

The piano book. Omg Tilia!   :o I laughed a little too hard at that one. But okay, I see what you mean about Minerva. Yikes! That's rough! And the boys got it too! I'm warming up to Molly, though. So much spirit in this generation. Everybody's reaction to the woohoo in the bush was just priceless. Thanks for the laughs.

Poor Minerva. That really is an unfortunate combo of traits plus all her compatible kleptos being unflirty as well. Not a great coincidence. I am surprised that pinstars generator lined up with the random allocation of traits through either the game itself or MCCC

_____

I think our parents are finally starting to realize that the third generation is primed and ready to take over. Dad is dealing with it in customary laid back style. Nice strategy on keeping those cucumbers in place, too.

And Mom internalizes everything until she has hot-headed explosions. It's very healthy.

Me, I've already got a plan set up, whether or not I'm the heir. And it's great because everyone listens to me. Albus would definitely step up to bat if it comes down to him, but that would mean breaking up with Clara, and I know for sure he doesn't want to do that. She sings to him. With flowers in her hair. Come on.

If he does end up the best option (meaning I age up uggo or with weird traits), then maybe I'll let him keep her as a secondary spouse. But that would still mean breaking up and impregnating someone else.

"Molly," my buddy Cameron says. "If you're not heir, why would they even listen to you?"

Silly boy.

Well, it might be a given, but that was no reason not to have a family meeting about it anyway. We Lores have a bad habit of talking over each other.

The first thing I wanted to deal with was Minnie's unfortunate trait/aspiration combo. So I asked Albus and Dad to take her to the romance festival. Dad could screen teen boys and Albus could steer her in the right direction when she opens her mouth. He also had to convince her to go in the first place, which meant dragging her away from her extremely boring teen hobbies.

I trust Albus to get it done though. He's a team player.

Well, the day of, I guess Minnie talked to some boys on her own before Daddy got there and ended up pretty mired in the "bored" moodlet.

So Albus sent her over to drink some of the roofie juice while they waited for Dad to get off work.

And spent his time wooing the woman he might have to eventually leave.

"This stuff is pretty hic-not bad!"

Apparently the two Laandgrabs and the Lothario were a no go. Repetitive or horrible traits. Minnie might not really be in the position to be choosy, but a mean slob is too low for a Lore.

"Give it to me straight, doc! -hic- Is this hopeless?"

"You have very unromantic traits, young lady. But there might be a way."

"You have a funny hat. Do all liars have funny hats?"

After my sister called me to drunkenly tell me about how a magic faucet could marry her, I had to ask Albus to escort her home. Aunt Serenity and Uncle Hawke there are just incidental. Don't mind them.

"Mollllllyyyy, it's not all helpless nonsense! Listen, I just have to pay the plumbing."

"Ahhhh -hic- roses!"

At least she came home with some nice stolen fireworks if not a soulmate. Sadly she did not stop talking about magic water hoses for several days after that. And even went so far as to start collecting pictures of hydrants and stuff around town.

Meanwhile, I've been reading my grandparents' biographies and love letters between Grandma and Grandpa to try to strategize how to instruct this generation.

"Molly, darling, don't you want to go outside and play?"

"Mom, don't you need to go help Albus with his homework for your new aspiration?"

"I was helping. He sent me away when that man showed up at the door again."

"Dad, that's your problem to deal with."

"I would argue it's Albus's problem. He's the one who clogged the drain. Hey, maybe that drain is Minerva's future husband."

Well, my birthday finally rolled around and I wished real hard to get good traits and not a stupid face. But Minnie wished for that too and ... well. I got Foodie. An Evil Foodie. Could be worse. And I want to be a painter extraordinaire, which is inconvenient considering my original plans, but I can work with it.

Nope! To the mirror.

Well, I guess I'm not quite as unique and attractive as my brother, but it certainly could be worse, don't you think?

I immediately cashed in a savant reward and started working on traits. First of all, off with the baby fat. Dad can help with that.

Well, to a point, anyway.

He seemed more interested in shouting directives at me while I did my homework. I haven't even been to school yet, Dad. Chill.

Trust me.  I've got this.

Aww. Molly kept her chubby cheeks. I'm so glad. She'll continue to disarm people with her cuteness. They'll never suspect a thing!

Poor Minerva! I have to give her an A for effort. That's a lot of Sakura tea. Not sure about her magic faucet plan, though. :/ Good luck, dear. I'm pulling for you.

Albus and Clara are adorable. As much as I like him, I hope he's not the heir so they don't have to break up. Singing with flowers in her hair. Awww. No wonder he's smitten. :)

Wait, why would Albus have to break up with Clara if he became heir? I must have missed something. And did the game actually suggest Minerva could romance the plumbing? Oh sims.  ::) Seems like Molly's got this all figured out.
