Can't Sell Clay

I tried to sell the clay in my Sim's inventory, but the game won't let me sell it.  There is another clay in the right spot on the back deck, but this one is extra, and I don't remember buying it for them.

There is a glitch at the moment where duplicates appear in sims personal inventory. There is an open bug report about multiple guitars but recently I've been noticing duplicates of homework books and other items.

Thanks, Play.  I hit the me too button.  I thought this bug was only for one object, like homework books, but I guess it's affecting other objects, as well.

I've got this bug too, the game doesn't always let me sell the duplicate item and if it does the the other one won't work.

Yeah, it's like the duplicates aren't actually registering with the game so if you do delete one then the game acts as though the other item isn't even in your sims inventory. Very weird.
