Traveler Mod
« on: January 05, 2017, 06:05:00 PM »
I hope this question isn't answered somewhere else. I searched this forum and read the nraas page, but still couldn't find help.

I just installed the traveler mod and my game acknowledges it and runs it. I chose a YA sim to travel to Isla Paradiso. When he got there, it asked which house i'd like to rent for this "term." The nraad site said that's normal. However, when I choose a house, it allows me to click "rent" and then the check mark to "get started playing," but after that nothing happens. Can anyone help?

If you haven't already, go ask over at Nraas about the Traveler issue.

They've got some pretty helpful people over there that know more about Traveler and other Nraas Mods.
Welcome!! We hope you enjoy the forum!!  Thank you for visiting!!

Haven't you forgotten to add a base camp to your vacation world first ?

@MrsFlynn , Thank you for the speedy response and suggestion. I think I'd rather just wait it out here to see if someone can help before I make another account on a separate site. :)

@Candyd Thanks for your reply :) I didn't do that, so that could possibly be it. I just read a bunch of stuff over at the Nraas site surrounding your base camp suggestion, but all I'm getting is that I need to go into edit town, which I had tried to do and the game wouldn't allow. The only menu options accessible were "Options" and something else not really useful for solving the issue. Do you perhaps know a way around it or if I am maybe approaching adding the basecamp in the wrong way?

Delete the current vacation world. Start the game, create a new save with your desired vacation world, go to edit town and place a base camp. Save, quit and move your new save's nhd file to your other save. Your modified vacation world should be functional.

Thank you, I'll give it a shot as soon as I log back onto the game.
