My Keyboard doesn't work inside the game! (Mac)

Hi, I have a Macbook Air and just started playing Sims 4. Everything works fine, nothing lagging or anything, but my keyboard stops working when I enter the game. This means I have to use the mouse pad for whatever I do and that I can't use cheats... This hasn't happened in any other program so I am really confused and don't know why this is happening in this specific game.

Does anyone have any idea of what I can do?

Do you play on OS X or on a BootCamp partition ?

It's been suggested to try turning off Origin-In-Game.

Deactivate Origin in Game -- Open Origin, Select Origin > Application Settings > Origin In Game - click the option to off to disable Origin-In-Game.

Optionally you can quit out of Origin and the game, and restart your computer and then try again.
