Get to Work Sims stuck at work, can't go home

Hi!  I join my sim at work (tried with doctor and scientist) and everything is fine until I'm paid at the end of the work day.  Once my sim is paid then she/he can't get credit for completed tasks and most importantly, they can't go home!  I have tried different sims and loaded different games...all with the same result.  Help..if I can't go to work and come home then what's the point of Get to Work    eeek!

Hi @tesolo  welcome to the forum.

Have you tried taking another of your sims into CAS on your home lot? If you do not have another sim in that particular household it may be worth quickly adding one just to try this out.

Sims do occasionally get stuck at work but usually they come home eventually often without the ability to control them. Scrolling out until your mouse cursor turns into a magnifying glass and traveling often solves this too.

Also if you use mods take them all out while trying to solve this, often glitches like this are caused by out dated mods and/or cc.
