My sim had a baby and its not hers?

My sim got pregnant by her husband. She had the baby (its theirs) well it still said she was in labor again so i checked and the mins were counting down again as if she was having another baby.
well she did have another baby. it has zero relation to the mom or the dad. im so confused. I thought it was a weird way of having twins even though i have had twins before in the game.
but this baby is not related to anyone even though she birthed it..

@Amberrmonsterr --- Welcome to the forum .  It does sound weird.  Maybe you could open the cheat console (cheat box) by pressing control, Alt, c at the same time.  Then, type testing cheats on.  Finally, use the cheat cas.fulleditmode.  Exit the cheat console, and click on your Sim.  Maybe it will let you change the familial relationships.  It's worth a try.

Oh dear! That is a weird bug for sure. If you have twitter it might be worth letting SimGuruNick know. I'm sure he'd really like to get his hands on your save file!
