Saving Sim files to put on another PC
« on: November 08, 2016, 01:08:49 PM »
Hello,

Today, I brought myself a new PC and I need help with putting a Sim's file from the one I am currently using, to the new one. I know that basics, like save the file to an external drive but I just don't know what files? (This goes for The Sims 4)

The easiest way to get your Sims 3 and Sims 4 folder/files over to your new computer is to copy/paste the user folders from the Documents\Electronic Arts folder to a flash drive. Take them to your new computer and copy/paste them back into the Documents\Electronic Arts folder.

The documents folder default location is:
C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts (The Sims 3 or 4)\
