Sims 4 get to work will not download

I just bought the Sims 4 Get To Work today but it will not download. (I have The Sims 4 so that isn't the issue). I put in the product code and everything into Origin and waited a few minutes but nothing happened. When I clicked play to see if it worked it said that running the game while downloading could cause problems so that let me know that it didn't download. I went and looked on Extra Content and it said it was preparing but it wouldn't do anything else. I refreshed and logged out of Origin but it does the same thing only now a message pops up saying "We've encountered a problem". I checked and every thing is up to date. It just won't download for the life of me. Please help !

Here's some troubleshooting tips to try:

1. Log out of Origin - *If exiting Origin isn't working, open Task manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc) search for a file called ts4.exe. Click on it and select end process.

2. Try running Origin as an Administrator - Right-click Origin and select Run as Administrator

3. Delete both game cache and Origin cache files

4. Restart computer, and try downloading again.

5. The last resort suggested is to uninstall/reinstall Origin.
