Sim has a baby that's not hers?

So, I recently was playing TS4 and my sim just went into labor. I accidentally waited too long to have her baby at the hospital. (I have Get To Work) So, what a normal sim would do, she gave birth at the house. The glitch happens where I did push "Have baby at hospital." After she gave birth, she wound up at the hospital but she wasn't pregnant and nobody was doing anything. I sent her back home to her family thinking everything was okay afterward. Nope, she was pregnant again but I didn't push "Try for baby" or "Woohoo" after the glitch. Soonly, the baby she originally gave birth to grew into a child. Only.. not looking like the mother nor the father. I went into "Change Sim" to see the relationships between them but it just says "roommates". I'm completely confused. She hasn't had the baby she's pregnant with now but I'm concerned if it will be like the unknown child that isn't hers. Is there any way this could happen to the next baby?

Sounds like the game just had a melt down while trying to decide if your sim was having the baby at hospital or at home. Next time pause when your sim goes into labor so you can make a clear decision to go to the hospital or not.

I think if you use the 'cas.fulleditmode on' cheat you can change the relationships in CAS so that the child can be reinstated as your sims child if that is what you want.
