Hi, new to the forum and created this account in the hope of retreiving my lost data! About a week ago, i started playing the sims 3 again on my Playstation 3 after about 3 years of not touching it. All of the save games already on there were crap, so I made a new game, built a house from complete scratch, designed a whole family, got jobs, made friends, etc. Basically, i've put more hours into it over the last week than i'd like to admit. Anyway, so today I went to play it jusy like normal and realised that my whole save game that I had worked on had completely disappeared and all that was left was the saves from 3 years ago. I know for sure that I saved it the previous time before turning off the PS3. Looking into the memory of the PS3 itself, the new save game shows up there but not through the actual game itself. I've tried saving the data onto my PSN account and retrieving it that way, but no success. I even bought a Playstation membership in order to use the online storage thing and it still didn't work! Basically, sims community, is there anything else I could do to get this game save back because i've worked really hard on it and was only just starting to like the sims again, but if I cannot get this data back I don't think i'll ever play it again due to the sheer frustration and possibility of it happening again.
