"The Sims 4 Has Stopped Working"

Please forgive me for suggesting things already tried, have these troubleshooting tips in the link below been tried?

Same thing has been happening to me. It used to be fine but ever since I downloaded outdoor stuff it crashes before I click a family! I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it with the expansion packs i ussually use and it still won't work! I've deleted any thing I can on my laptop too. It's really anoying and enables me from playing the game that I'm obsesed with and payed good money on!
