Can this PC run Sims 3?

Hello!  I'm Alexa.

I wanted to ask if the new laptop I'm getting can run the sims 3 with these expansion packs:

World Adventures
Late Night
Ambitions
Generations
Pets
Supernatural
Seasons
University Life
Island Paradise.


Here are the laptop specs:

    Windows 10 Home 64
    6th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor
    8 GB memory; 1 TB HDD storage
    15.6" FHD display
    NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 950M (2GB GDDR5 dedicated)

Yes this computer should run Sims 3 and it's expansions without too many problems in high settings.

However with Sims 3, please keep in mind due to the game engine's quirks the game still suffers from micro-stutters and periodic slow downs. There is not a lot you can do to fix this.

Also the more content you add to the game, like custom content, game mods and store content the more the game will lag. This is due to the way the game handles additional content. Again, not much can be done to speed that up unfortunately.

Thanks alot for your reply. My current laptop has an i3 Intel Processor with 1.8GHz. It's noticeably slow running the sims 3. It has no NVidia or GeForce. I think that's why it's really slow.

The reason why your current laptop is really slow at running Sims 3 is because it's way under minimum specs for what Sims 3 really needs to run and play the game smoothly along with not having a dedicated graphics card.
