Other sims are afraid of my sim?

I went to fish the other day and i saw a young adult woman and i went to talk to her and she got scared and she had a bubble with the picture of my sim in it.. And whenever i pass by other sims they get that thinking bubble with the pic of my sim.. Why is that?
My sim is crazy.. Do you think it's because of that?

Have her dress in "friendly" looking clothes, and have her give friendly introductions and socials.  If she says nice things, then, other Sims will think that she's nice.  For example, the hermit in Granite Falls has  the "insane" trait, and he or she doesn't scare other Sims. 

Does your Sim have a job --- like tech guru --- I have genius tech gurus without the insane trait ---- or music, painting or writing could be good for a genius/perfectionist.

Is your sim in a notorious club like the Renegades? That causes others to fear them.
