Wild horses teleport out of fencing?

Hiya!
I'm rather new to this forum (as in I just joined) and Ive been seeing a lot of people talking about their pets teleporting.
My specific issue however, is the wild horses. Ive seen people bait the wild horses on to their property before going in build mode and fencing them in to catch them. But when I do it, the horses only stay for a minute before vanishing suddenly.

I guess they go back to the pond or wherever the rest of the herd is, I'm not entirely sure, but when I try to fence them in, they can't leave, and then they teleport.

Is their any possible way to prevent the horses from doing this? A mod or something? I'd love to tame the wild horses, but its fun having them permanent fixture on my ranch too. I give them food and water, as well as a ball to play with so they aren't starving to get out. They just poof.

The game does routing checks to see if they are trapped, and if they are, teleports them somewhere they aren't (same thing with visiting sims/paparazzi etc). It can happen to horses you own as well, at least it does to mine.

I wouldn't know of a mod that changes this, but I'm no expert.
