New to Forum; Store Content..?

Hello there, registered just now to ask this question..
I'm not sure if it's violating any legal things, but if it is, it definitely wasn't intentional;
There's a store content item that I've never known to be free, and I've never purchased it, yet it's in my Downloads/Installation and is usable in my games?
I don't really know where it came from, other than I download a lot of stuff from the Sims 3 website from the Exchange..?
I'm newbish to this sort of stuff, mostly just kind of piddle about and build stuff..

Mostly just curious as to how it was possible to have the item when neither myself or others have purchased it [for me].

Admins, please forgive me if this is the wrong forum for this sort of question.. Wasn't really sure where to ask it. x -x

For the Gifting, I don't see who would have done so. I have no followers and don't post anything to get myself noticed on the site.

And as for the complete-a-set thing, I haven't purchased anything from the Store, other than free Holiday content and content that comes with the Limited Edition Expansions.

The item in question is the "Fowl and Feather Chicken Coop", not a very expensive SP item. It's around 456sp, I believe?
It's been available to me for a while, and I'd googled it before and couldn't find anything. Not sure why it just occurred to me to ask about it in a forum of some sort, and I use Carl's Guide almost religiously when needed, so I figured I should post here.

I have to wonder if it wasn't something where a person has downloaded it with DRM removed somehow (if they even use something so heavy-handed in the first place), uploaded it to the exchange, it appears as CC and could then be downloaded by other people unwittingly.
