Install CC to the sims 2?

Im probably gonna look real dumb but I am not computer savvy about this sort of thing so how does one install CC to the sims 2? Can someone explain in detail or link me to something that explains how to put CC into the sims 2 in enough detail that even I could understand it? Thanks. Would be much appreciated.
