Game stuck indefinitely on "Processing" when editing town
« on: July 10, 2016, 02:56:48 PM »
Really complex issue, sorry.
*My Sim had a child, and sent her off to boarding school (I have all the EPs)
*Next time I load the game, the sim's icon is there, but her face isn't. As in, on the left hand side where every sim in the household is, hers wasn't there.
*Repeatedly tried to call her home and such but to no avail.
*Gave up on this sim and my sim had another child, so now in the household there's my sim, a toddler and a Plumbot (and the other girl stuck at boarding school).
*Anyway, I tried to move my family without the girl stuck at boarding school. First I moved them to a new house (purely to get rid of the BS girl) then I moved them to a new town. It worked (after a lot of hassle).

My issue is that I saved the game on a new file when they were in the new house in the old town, and I want to continue by moving them back into the house they were in before. However, when I go into "Edit Town" to evict the sim in my old house, it just gets stuck on the "processing" screen and I can't do anything. I've tried this a number of times and it's seriously annoying me. Help?!?

It sounds like you've got two issues here. The boarding school bug. You can read more about it in the link below.

Try a factory reset, and add in your game save to see if that will help.
