Sims 4 Suddenly Won't Save

I've been using sims 4 for a while with not a lot of issues till yesterday. The game did an update and now my saved files are gone not a big deal but the game will not let me save at all! It makes me start a new game every time. I tried to do a repair game through Orgin and it didn't help. I tried putting the game at 32 bit as I saw that it might help the issue and it did nothing. Anyone know what to do now?
