I might try it, I spell it Tobey because I had a ferret that was very dear to me named Tobey and she died last year and ever since I have loved using the name for characters both male and female so it has a lot of sentimental value spelled this way. Hopefully they come up with a fix for it soon.

In the screenshot it doesn't say "which" name is not allowed. You have gotten a family shown, what are the names of the others in the household?

I bet the word "obey" is blocked. They previously blocked a lot of words related to sexual preference and they reversed that.

It's definitely Tobey, I played him by himself when I first played the game, and it gave me the error message with him and no one else.
