Title says it all, anyone get this even without mods, i only played maxis restaurants cc-free run by NPCs, I go on a date and order at midnight, it's nearly 6am, I can't complete the date because I can't socialise about meal when there isn't one.

All other customers get their meals so the restaurant seems to be functioning, wonder why my order was ignored...

Did you've watched the waiter? they sometimes let the dishes fall, so you have to order again.

I've started deleting other tables in the restaurant so my Sims always get seated first and theirs is the only food that can be made

Or making other Sims leave with MCCC

All I can suggest is to make sure your restaurants don't have too many tables! If the restaurant only has around 6/7 tables things seem to go more smoothly.
