Dine Out - ordering a meal

Just got the new game pack and jumped straight in to have a couple go and dine out. Noticed one thing though, my couple ordered a complete meal - wine, appetizer, main and dessert, but all that was delivered to their table was the wine and dessert. You can order more after eating, so I think you may need to order just one course at a time. Anyone else found this?

Yep, can only order one course at a time. I did that too on my first meal and wondered where the appetizer and mains had got to! If you mouse over the sims icon in the ordering menu you can see the list of food that will be served... that was how I figured out that it is the last item ordered that 'sticks'. You can order a drink and food at the same time though.
