Teens driving into rivers?

Does anyone else have their teens driving into rivers, boulders, and trees while learning to drive, or is my game just buggy?

I've never seen anything like this happen.  Mine have always stayed on the roads like they're supposed to.

I had one drive into the school. Then, he disappeared and I had to go to Edit Town to get him back. Another time, the school bus ran straight into a house and disappeared with my grade schooler. Same Edit Town fix.

I had one drive off the road and into the grass, but only when he was stressed and ready to quit.

My teens always drive into rivers/boulders/trees/houses, you name it they drive into it.  The car also disappears from screen and the parent that is teaching them to drive goes separate direction.  I usually just wait it out until they both stop, then I have the teen and parents meet up again to continue learning to drive.

Yes, Nutella, that happens to me too, minus the boulders, etc. Mine continue learning to drive while running around town in opposite directions.

Hahahaha!  I have never seen this happen in game, but having been a teenager once and failed driver's ed, I totally understand why it would.

I had one of my sims drive into the ocean on Islo Paradiso once.

That recently happened to me too. Parent and teen ended up on different islands.
