Well, I'm afraid I still have serious problems. ITF *still* will not be recognized and I can't register it. The My Games page only shows a couple that I bought for sims 4 and NOTHING for TS3. Even when I clicked on "reload." I can't register half of my eps. It keeps telling me that "the serial code you have entered is invalid." This is in spite of the fact that I am copying the code directly from the pamphlet included in the box and this same code worked just fine installing things. As you said, for ITF it might be b/c it was a digital d/l. I also do not have anything in my collections folder. When I open Windows Explorer and look at the program files 86, all of the ep's show up, but I don't have any of the content for them. When I tried d/ling some of the "gift packs" from EA and tried installing them, I got the msg that the ep was missing.

When I tried contacting EA, the only thing I got was the page hanging forever.

Something is seriously messed up. I'm not sure if it is my comp or the disks are damaged or what.

Give it a try, as I am not really sure what to do for ItF. They should be able to help you with all of that as long as you can verify account information and show proof of purchase.

Well, they can probably verify the key code. Other than that, I have no other proof of purchase. The receipts were thrown years ago. It's not just ITF either, it's most of my ep's. Most of them are "missing" and all of the content for them as well even though it appeared as though they installed. I'll try to give it a shot.

At some point did you register your discs/games with Sims3.com? That might be able to be used as proof of purchase.

I was under the impression you no longer need to do that with the game, even if you have the disc version. But it may be worth looking into.

Also, if the expansions/stuff packs are missing you may want to make sure all of them are checkmarked in the content manager aka launcher.

Well, I think this whole thing was my fault all along. : / I *didn't* have any of the packs checked as active on the launcher.

I just made sure to do that and now they all show up. One lesson though, don't try to work on this when you're tired, lol. Thanks for all of the help you've given me Mrs. Flynn!!! It is MUCH appreciated!

Hi again! I just discovered something. I just d/led a bunch of stuff today into my game and the game started crashing again. The next time I tried selecting the family, I noticed that Starlight Shores was blank! It said that it could not be loaded b/c of a "missing ep." I looked at the Expansions and Stuff tab and sure enough, everything was unchecked. So it seems as though I'm going to have to recheck everything every time I d/l stuff.

There maybe a fix for that. What you may want to do is contact EA's customer Service as there maybe something wrong with your account, as from what I gather, it's not suppose to de-select the eps/sps you have. More information in the link below:

Not that I've been able to find unfortunately. Every time we've had to get a hold of EA's CS we use IE. As Firefox has problems with their site.

I'm trying this one more time, but I'm pretty certain that it will hang as before. If somebody else can do it (report the bug again), that would be good, but I just can't do it.

Yay!! I'm happy to hear that!! Hopefully they'll able to tweak the settings on your account and the launcher will stop "forgetting" what expansions and stuff packs you have selected. *Snicker*
