Does The Sims 4 have roommates?

Unfortunately that really isn't an option. You could just let her do things autonomously, but that's about it,  as far as I know.

Welcome to the Forum, @mikenan! Shewolf is right -- you would be able to control your sim's fiancée, but you don't have to. Sims in TS4 are good about taking care of themselves if you have free will on. I've played several generations of a challenge in which I could control only one person in the family, and they did fine. She won't make much progress on her aspiration or most skills, but she'll survive.
