Ausette - Haha, funny. Simbots cannot drink for Sims, or else they would break! Blood is liquid, like water. Simbots have gas in them, don't they? :)

From reading some of the Sims 2 legacies and challenges, I think such a creature was called a "Black Sheep". Not sure why. You're right, that'd be awesome for Sims 3.  ;D What would a vampire Simbot drink, diesel?

Plasma fruit diesel nectar. Unleaded. ;)

@sydney: They have gas in them? How?

I am assuming they do... or maybe that liquid stuff in their batteries I don't know. I was being silly. :) Or, maybe diesel, although I think that is gas... oh nevermind, lets just say they they would drink diesel.

Ok, I can test this out for myself in a few weeks, but maybe if you made a mummy die, brought them back and breeded with a vampire? Except I forgot that mummies can't try for babies but would that apply to their ghost? Man, I need to try that!!

EDIT: This is Mia Mummyturner!

She decided to turn Gunther Goth and Nancy Landgraab into mummies!

She then killed Gunther to get a ghost.

While they waited for that special phone call from the lab, Nancy practiced martial arts and trained her to help her get to Emperess of Evil.

When the phone call came, Gunther was restored as a mummy ghost!

He then asked Nancy to be his wife, and was able to woohoo but not try for baby. So he broke up with her, and turned his attention to Mia. He married her and was able to woohoo but not try for baby so I conclude that you can't breed mummies no matter what!   :( I can't wait to get LN to experiment with vampires!

Esther, thank you very much for trying that out! I am sure that you have helped a lot of people with your experiment.

But I was wondering; I've read in Samoth's great guide to vampires (the title doesn't have 'great' in it, that was my personal opinion) that it actually will take some several days after the bite for a sim to become undead. If you sleep during that time in the cursed sacrofaque, you will become a mummy while on the way becoming a vampire. If your sim than dies (by an accident, people please play friendly ;)) you will have a mumpire ghost right?

You're welcome! I had fun doing it!  ;D When I get LN, I will definitely try that!

Well, Leto I tried it out. Remember Claudia? Well, I had saved her and Lestat in my library so I wouldn't have to wait for vampires to spawn. I put them in my Mummyturner town, and turned Chadwick Keaton, Justine and Marty's son.

I then immediately had him sleep in the cursed sarcophagus:

I kept getting the messages that the bite itched, and he felt like he was on fire. I actually thought it was gonna work!! Unfortunately though, when it came time for him to complete his metamorphis, or however you say it, he popped out of the sarcophagus as a mummy.

And no signs of vampirisim at all plus not being able to try for baby. I even tried to have her offer to turn him again and that wasn't an option anymore! I got mad, so I aged him up and let Grim take him! At least I didn't starve him!  ;D

So I guess EA figured we would try that and they were a step ahead of us!  :(

Hmmm, that's just to bad. Unfortuniatly, I havent tried it out myself, just because you've already told me you would do.
Thank you very much for the result, eventhough you became a bit disapointed with it. You have tried it out exactly the same way as I would do it: first bite, than sleep. To bad it didn't work.
I will let this topic unclosed, just for incase some EA update will change this kind of transformations.

Thanks again Esther! You're a great help. ;)

You're very welcome again Leto! I had fun with it even though it didn't work the way I'd hoped!

Very cool photos Esther! . I think you should be a professional photographer. ;D
*clears throat* back on topic. I tried to experiment with 'Mumbot' Ghosts as well and some how, my Mumbot ghost disappeared forever. It's not even in the Cemetery!. Oh well, guess I'll try again! .
