Make something excellent wish?
« on: March 14, 2016, 08:50:06 AM »
Hi I brought a new issue here again. :D My parent sims got the 3rd baby boy and now they have 3 sons at home. I don't know why they only get boys. I expected just one daughter this time but failed. I didn't want to feed strawberries to get a daughter. I just wanted to get a daughter normally. :D

Anyway, I gave the youngest boy to 'perfectionest' trait when he grew up to a child. The little boy wishes to make(or build or create?) something excellent but don't know what to do. I let him make some shape with the play dough but didn't work.
Should he use a science experiment table set or is it for making something excellent on the woodworking table in teenager? Sorry but I have no clue what whim it is in English because I'm currently playing in Korean language, so all whims and story show in Korean. :( I had a look the guidelines about children but didn't find any.

One more question I have is my 2nd son completed whiz kid aspiration when he was a child. I'm going to buy a savant store reward to him. If he gets that reward, then will he learn Logic skill 3-4 times faster? :D I wish! :D

Hey Summers ^^

To answer your question about that particular whim, he needs to create something excellent.  I believe he can use the artist table under kids' activities, but make sure he's very inspired when he tries and even then, might not happen until later levels in creativity skill.  The only issue I foresee is that maybe he has to wait till teen to get it, but I thought I remembered getting excellent quality drawings before, though I could be mistaken XD

As for the whiz kid question, yes, bonuses stack.  So since he has the mentally gifted trait and giving him savant, the bonuses should stack.  As well as if you bought morning/night Sim and the bonus for being in the proper mood, etc.  Hope this was clear enough! I'm only now just getting some caffeine in me XD

Thank you Shewolf13. :D I can offer an inspired potion to him, then I can let him draw something. It might work. I haven't tried your suggestion yet.

WoW! Then I better ask my first son to challenge the musical genius aspiration, then he will get it faster. And Logic skill for the 2nd son.  Thank you! They already have connection rewards, haha. They are A grade, so they may start from level 4 each career. :D
