Here's a tip for sculptors
« on: September 16, 2010, 11:45:18 AM »
I have recently started a sim who is trying to max out her sculpting skill and I have discovered this useful tip:

You can tell when a sculpture is going to be brilliant+ quality when, when you start sculpting you will get a nicely decorated+ moodlet, normally they would only get the decorated moodlet

Just thought the simmers would like to know

Thanks

I did testing on that a while back and I think something was posted on here in a thread as well.  Make a room with no decorations and only a sculptors bench.  It works out pretty neat.  I imagine there still are a few that may not know that tidbit.  Thanks for sharing.
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

Sorry, I didn't realise.

But yeah, it works out really good and it's good because if you have this in a living area, or place where other Sims spend a lot of their day, it is an easy way to boost their mood!

I got this at first but after the first few times I always got the +40 moodlet (in an undecorated room) even when the quality was only 'great'.

It somehow depends on the sim, this trick has worked on most of mine (the beautiful moodlet that is, they almost always get the nicely one) but I had problem with one that got the beautiful moodlet regardless of sculpture quality. I don't know if its a bug or if it is his snob trait that does it... maybe every statue of himself is a masterpiece to him.
