Sims 4 - Sims Not Liking Any Food???

Hi All,

So, the last patch fixed the issue where every sim found every mouthful of food spicy. But i have started a new game since then and found my male Sim seems to not like any of the food he eats? It is the first time in a while i have played with the game sounds on, so not sure if anyone has this issue?? My Sim isnt a vegetarian or anything....

Any ideas??

Does your sim have the Foodie trait?

One of my sims has the Foodie trait and she gets disappointed even after she drinks something she mixed, and she has maxed Mixology.
If you sim doesn't have the Foodie trait, then I don't know.

If your sim doesn't like the fruitcake that comes with the Welcome Wagon they can end up 'disliking' all their food. This bug was fixed in a patch but can still occur from time to time, particularly in older files so it might be this too.

Interesting. I have yet to find a Sim, that likes the fruitcake. It usually puts them in a bad mood. I haven't noticed any other aversion to food, though - as long as it's above "good" quality.

I've found it's 50/50 for the fruitcake. About half of my sims love it and get a happy moodlet, and the others hate it. It's quite funny actually, because they get a new interaction having to do with the fruitcake.

My sims get introduced to fruitcake by the Welcome Wagon and have all felt poorly after eating it.
Do only your sims that like fruitcake get the interaction? Is it like for grilled cheese?  ("Talk about fruitcake"?)

I can't recall exactly, but I'm pretty sure it is "Talk about Fruitcake". I've tried having a sim who likes it use the interaction on a sim who doesn't, and it leads to a -- decrease in friendship, hehe.

I think it is 'enthuse about fruitcake' which is even funnier! lol If the other sim doesn't like fruitcake they pull a 'Blah' face and flap their hands giving the conversation a small negative hit!

Yup, "Complain about fruitcake", usually negatively affects relationships.
