How do I tan?

I created a sim who is WAY too pale and I have no idea how I can get her to tan.  In previous sims you could go and tan outside, but I dont see anywhere to sunbathe.  Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum @sheenanigans . The Sims 4 does not have the option to tan. You can go into CAS using cheats and alter her skin tone there.
Open cheats console Shift+Control +C
To turn on cheats : testingcheats on
To turn on CAS cheat: cas.fulleditmode on    then take your sim to a dresser or shift click them and you will be in CAS.
