Sims 4 genetics
« on: February 12, 2016, 11:11:45 AM »
I was wondering how the genetics work on the Sims 4. I have played through a few generations of the Sims 4 now and I am having a bit of an issue with hair colour. If a couple have a daughter she will always have the same hair colour as the mother and if they have a son he will have the same hair colour as the father. Is this how it actually works or is it just how it has turned out in my game so far? It kind of makes it less fun.

Welcome to the Forum! I've had a son get the same hair color as his mother several times and I've had daughters get the same color as their fathers. I'm pretty sure that there's not a set pattern.

Thanks for your reply :) So it is either just my game or it has just randomly happened that way.

Unless you have CC interfering somehow, it sounds random.
