Working 2 Branches of the Same Career
« on: March 28, 2016, 09:38:12 AM »
It appears that it is possible to max both branches of the same career. This is the link to my conversation with @Summers: http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/forum/index.php/topic,26245.0/topicseen.html

To summarize, the way to do this is to take a job in another career after reaching level 10 of the first career (in her case, Master Chef in Culinary). Then get the Connections reward and apply for a job in the first career. This will put your sim at level 4, from which point you can go on and choose the 2nd branch. But an intervening career is necessary. I don't know whether it's necessary to get the Connections reward; it just shortens the time you have to spend in the career.

Thanks for sharing this!  I have a sim I'm playing right now that I will try this out on.

This seems weird. I've tried this before with a sim with connections and I still couldn't choose the 'other' branch. Maybe something has changed in a recent patch?
