Publicly Disgrace due to Detonation

Once my sims has enough level of inventory skill to detonate objects.
Detonation will cause Publicly Disgrace even in the Junkyard or my home!
Anyone know how to avoid it? Thank you.

No way to avoid it that I can see.  I just got my Sim up to 150 detonations.  She did it in Egypt and everyone hates her there, but at least it won't be a problem in her home town.  However, if you're doing it in your Sim's home town, you can sue for slander at City Hall and choose the Dispel Rumors with other Sims to help lessen the damage.
