I don't have it on DS, but on IGN it got a 7.5/10.
So, it's not a complete waste if you happen to like it, but it may be bad. Some games over the years that I've come to enjoy had just a 6, so it's not a lost cause.

I bought it, played it for a few days, and got tired.
I maxed out the cooking skill when I was only level 2 in the cooking career.

And the fast-forwarding thing is really dodgy. It's not fast at all.
The graphics are alright.

Does the coocking has any more depth than just reaching level 10?
And what about the karma thing? Is that something like the LTH points?

As per a review I read the sims are rendered in the block fashion of the blur they use when having a shower, max two sims a household, you can't have children and on the ps3 karma points come from getting wishes but LTH points come from wishes and mood so they just accompany it.
