My fairy seems to have gone crazy???

All she does all day is talk to people that aren't there. The people she is talking to faces show but there is no one there? She can still be programmed and she will do things when things, like using the toilet, go to red? But other then that all she does is stand around talking to no one.

I have tried resetting. Going into editing and redoing do some of her traits. I had her drink a bottle of anti cure incase it was a curse. But it said she was healthy.

I can't get rid of her because she has to many skill I need like alchemy and bloom! lol

The other thing you maybe able to try is to evict the household and then move them back in. This is a form of resetting the household.

However, this may not stop them from talking to themselves. I don't usually play with supernaturals on. But have observed a fairy. I can't remember her name but she's a townie in Moonlight Falls.

While visiting her she would walk around her house talking with herself and even seemed like she was arguing with herself. It was kind of odd. I figured it was part of being a fairy.

So I'm thinking fairies aren't crazy, they're just unique. *Snicker*

I think its a glitch. Because it queues them in on top. I can tell who she's talking to and even what they are conversing about.

At one point not to long ago I was getting kind of bored with my fairy/ witch family. Then the game spiced it's self up.

 I have two couples a mom and her husband/ which is a step father to the daughter who also has a fiancé. Everything is running boringly smooth when I get a message that the fiancé has a relationship on the side and now has a naughty rep. so I check to see who its with and its with his fiancés step father....yes the game got the two men together. lol It took forever to get that all straightened out and everything back to boringly normal which did not seem so boring anymore.lol

Then I get another message that he has another relationship on the side. This time its with this fiancés mom.

At that point in decided I need to move him out and let him go. Now he has no traits like flirty that could have brought this on.

I guess all is fair in love and sims. Even for teens playing sims to deal with because I have no mods?

There have been a couple stories here that have touched on the inappropriate relationships lol I can think of a reformed Genie (yeah, Shawna, I'm looking at you) who pretty much tried to flirt with everyone in the house lol

Edited to add: just realised I didn't comment on the original post lol I think it must be a glitch. Pre-legacy TS3 play for me was always witches or fairies and I can honestly say that I never had a fairy wander around chatting to the air!

Marigold Maldano ? I played with her a little bit, she's insane.
I play with another fairy I made, and I've never seen her talking to herself. She just talks to plants and that's enough LOL.

I think what's happening sounds like a glitch, where the target Sim is actually there but their body and face have disappeared (technically gone underground) resulting in that Sim's thought/speech bubbles to be coming from the floor and the other Sim talking to thin air.

This happens to be fixed by sending the affected Sim to a dresser or mirror to Plan Outfit or Change Appearance.
