Shower in a Can
« on: November 23, 2009, 02:31:06 AM »
I happened to get a few shots of my Sim, Angelina Ant, using her Shower in a Can.  If any of you happened to read my article for the Rock Star Lifetime Wish Guide, you might remember Angelina.  She's my Sim Adam Ant's daughter with Bella Bachelor who got moved into the Ant household when she was a toddler.  Now she's grown and adventuring around the world.  See, I said she would have a fabulous life because daddy is a Rock Star!!  She's so cute that I thought I'd share a couple of pictures for those who haven't gotten to use the Shower in a Can yet or who don't have World Adventures.  She's also modeling a new hairstyle that came with the expansion pack.

I keep around a dozen of those on my Sim at all times. It's just too convenient in dungeons for the ability to heal the singed moodlet you get from electric and fire traps. Don't usually need them for hygiene because I'm always spraying off the flames when a well's not around :P

I love the tent and shower in a can from the expansion. In vanilla ts3, I always wanted to camp out, but my sim didn't have a place to sleep=/

Now my sims can stay for weeks at one spot, as long as they have tents and a portable fire pit(showers are optional). Bring on the family camping trips!

One thing though, they're aren't any portable bathrooms, although I don't know if this is a problem.

I had one sim(without steel bladder) camp out at a fishing pond for weeks, and, while he was filthy, he never had to use the bathroom(his bladder meter stayed full). Even if it wasn't that way, it still isn't too big a problem, as I can just let my sims wet themselves, and perhaps use a shower in a can. They'll get negative moodlets, but that's just a simulation of real life camping-not everything is comfortable.

I've caught on fire a couple times in tombs in Egypt and the shower in a can has come in handy :)

Lol...as for portable bathrooms, without steel bladder I think we just let them go where ever and use shower in a can ;)

:D Nice Pic's Pam...my Sim loves the "shower in a can" although when he got zapped by one of the electric traps it didn't seems to help him. :P

Hmm I think shower in a can helped with electrical burns, but maybe they just need to hop in the dive well. I'm paranoid of getting soaked before electrocuted, but it hasn't caused a Sim death yet!

Shower in a can is practical back in the home town as well. My farming sim brought back a few of those, they are very time saving when she gets dirty from tending the garden, now she won't need to go inside to take a neverending shower.

Okay, §120 is much for one single shower at home, but might be worth it if your sim manages to do more gardening.
