I think sometimes threads get marked as 'fixed' when the reason for the glitch is discovered rather than the glitch actually being fixed. I've left a couple of comments in the past about removing the 'fixed' status until EA have actually fixed it. $:-\$

@Playalot @MrsFlynn the solution EA gave me was to add the TS4 .exe file found in the "bin" folder to my firewall exceptions, so far it seems to have worked. I'm offline now (started Origin in true offline mode) and the items are there in my game :-D happy days!!!

I just hope it works for everyone! I double checked again by putting that silly gummy fish bowl on a desk and after exiting the game and Origin, and then re-entering both from true offline mode, the fish was still there :-D I really wish we had got the skeleton fish though lol

*side note* OMG I can't believe one of my posts became a sticky! Squee!

*back to our regular programming* I just hope that EA finds a better solution to this, imagine what all those people who don't have internet access, to check up solutions, must be going through! Heck, it used a tidy piece of my data chatting up that EA person in the live chat! Still can't believe the original guy wanted to sell me the whole "oh but parts of TS4 are online, like the gallery" *eye roll* made me wonder whether he'd ever even played TS4 before lol

Edited to add: ok I've now TRIPLE checked and the fix seems valid... Now if I could only get rid of the loo/toilet bug lol *another topic entirely*
